MY ORIGIN STORY & more
My love for typography and animation started from a young age through comics and film, yet my journey begins far from art and design. I studied sciences and obtained a degree in the area, all the while dreaming of graphic design. I decided to pursue my creative dream and went to an art and design college to study.
My scientific background did not go to waste; it has equipped me with research and analytical skills that have proven valuable to my design process. I have been working at creative agencies for the past 8 years where I grew into a design generalist, becoming well-knowledged in various design disciplines and creating designs with impact in both print and digital media. I have designed for a variety of clients including food & beverage, spa & beauty, hospitality, startups, tech, non-governmental organisations and government entities.
Apart from my work in design, I have also been involved in civil society on human rights for over ten years, developing a strong foundation in social justice, advocating for the LGBTIQ community and focusing on education and awareness. Looking ahead, I aim to bring my civil rights and design experience into workshops and training spaces — offering sessions on design and visual communication topics as well as LGBTIQ topics.
