
a national legacy
This was a passion project to rebrand a national brand in the aviation industry, that has meaning and legacy for my home country. Air Malta was the national airline of Malta, a source of pride for such a small country. The airline slowly lost the market share to Ryanair, and eventually ceased to operate and was replaced by new airline.
This rebrand and repositioning aimed to conceptually re-establish Air Malta as a mainstay of Maltese travel, focusing on brand image and prioritising customer satisfaction.



The brand mark is inspired by Air Malta's legacy branding and incorporates the Maltese Cross, which is a national symbol. The identity focused on key pillars of quality, connectivity and legacy.
